im suuuuper interested in trying the new primers from the colour ready collection. I'm super broke and lent helped but im in a new situation now.. First thing monday I'm gonna go get the new line filling primer. I want the finishing powder and the other primer but I think ill have to wait on those...

LENT

IIII have given up.... buying any mac products for lent. Its kinda to try to save money, and also because.. im fuckin addicted to that stuff. BUT i have to admit. i didddd get 2 things from the mac store today. BUT I DIDNT USE MY MONEY. i used the macys gift card that nico gave me. Sooooo i bought another set of lashes, and i bought plum dressing eyeshadow. mmmmmmm that was the last of it for a lonnng time though.. I think i can last. and i feel like its an opportunity for me to actually try new stuff (way to save money huh?) like nars and urban decay and smashboxxxxx. we'll see. ill try to cut down though.

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY!!

of course its belated! because yesterday i was doing nothing but spending all my time with my wondderrrful lovely lovely boyfriend of mine. I hope everyone had as much fun as i did! I was able to plan out the whooolle day and have loads of surprises for my lover. We went downtown for the day - for the most part it was okay weather... for some reason, i think there is SOMETHING that controls the weather, because throughout the whole week its been pretty nasty, but on that special day, everything works out fine. IT HAS TO BE. anyways. we went to the mall, ate some coriander thai yummmmmmmmmm. then we walked around for a long while.

I had the chance to make nico go somewhere while i get my surprise ready. I got a bunch of rose petals, red and white, and got the room at the herbert hotel (ill show pictures from website), and threw the petals EVERYWHERE!!! the room was soooooooooooo cuuute! i loved it, it was PERFECT! so after that i went back down and met up with nico, i was too excited about the hotel so i let him see his surprise. The herbert hotel is totally unnoticeable, theres a tiny sign but theres a big sign that says HERBERT. its RIGHT next to lori's diner and RIGHT ACROSS from H&M. amazing.

So anyways the lobby is located in the same room (pretty much) as a mexican restuarant. i brought him in there i made him close his eyes and we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to our room on the 5th floor. so he was pretty much scared to death. We finally got to the 5th floor and by this time it wasnt obvious at ALL, because herberts keys are regular keys - not the card ones. So i opened the door and he looked inside and we saw our beautiful abode! LAVIT!

Thennn we walked around some more, shopped, etc. We had reservations at the daily grill at 9. We came early and sure enough we were seated early. other couples were waiting for 45min-an hour and a half just to get seated. but ohhhhh no we had reservations!!! I ordered the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatos MEDIUM WELL. YUM!!!!!!!!!!! omg the filet was sooooo good! Nico ordered the california cobb sandwich which was like turkey bacon avocado lettuce tomato. all that good stuff. im soooo glad we chose daily grill it was PERFECT.

After dinner we prettymuch ran to the metreon to catch push. It was pretty good, not the best though. It was still really fun. Then we finally got some toothbrushes and chips at walgreens and then we went home to our prettypretty hotel room. The sleep was goood the bed was sooo comfy. Im glad we didnt have to just go back home.

overall, it had to be the best valentines day EVER. in fact, it had to be one of the best days in my life! I love nicobico to death! anyways, here are pictures of the hotel and the rooms and whatnot. i reccomend it to EVERYONE. i paid 80 bucks for my pretty room. that was with tax too. decent price - especially for valentines day. =)




our room looked pretty much exactly like this one.. just with better bedding =)
