HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY!!

of course its belated! because yesterday i was doing nothing but spending all my time with my wondderrrful lovely lovely boyfriend of mine. I hope everyone had as much fun as i did! I was able to plan out the whooolle day and have loads of surprises for my lover. We went downtown for the day - for the most part it was okay weather... for some reason, i think there is SOMETHING that controls the weather, because throughout the whole week its been pretty nasty, but on that special day, everything works out fine. IT HAS TO BE. anyways. we went to the mall, ate some coriander thai yummmmmmmmmm. then we walked around for a long while.

I had the chance to make nico go somewhere while i get my surprise ready. I got a bunch of rose petals, red and white, and got the room at the herbert hotel (ill show pictures from website), and threw the petals EVERYWHERE!!! the room was soooooooooooo cuuute! i loved it, it was PERFECT! so after that i went back down and met up with nico, i was too excited about the hotel so i let him see his surprise. The herbert hotel is totally unnoticeable, theres a tiny sign but theres a big sign that says HERBERT. its RIGHT next to lori's diner and RIGHT ACROSS from H&M. amazing.

So anyways the lobby is located in the same room (pretty much) as a mexican restuarant. i brought him in there i made him close his eyes and we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to our room on the 5th floor. so he was pretty much scared to death. We finally got to the 5th floor and by this time it wasnt obvious at ALL, because herberts keys are regular keys - not the card ones. So i opened the door and he looked inside and we saw our beautiful abode! LAVIT!

Thennn we walked around some more, shopped, etc. We had reservations at the daily grill at 9. We came early and sure enough we were seated early. other couples were waiting for 45min-an hour and a half just to get seated. but ohhhhh no we had reservations!!! I ordered the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatos MEDIUM WELL. YUM!!!!!!!!!!! omg the filet was sooooo good! Nico ordered the california cobb sandwich which was like turkey bacon avocado lettuce tomato. all that good stuff. im soooo glad we chose daily grill it was PERFECT.

After dinner we prettymuch ran to the metreon to catch push. It was pretty good, not the best though. It was still really fun. Then we finally got some toothbrushes and chips at walgreens and then we went home to our prettypretty hotel room. The sleep was goood the bed was sooo comfy. Im glad we didnt have to just go back home.

overall, it had to be the best valentines day EVER. in fact, it had to be one of the best days in my life! I love nicobico to death! anyways, here are pictures of the hotel and the rooms and whatnot. i reccomend it to EVERYONE. i paid 80 bucks for my pretty room. that was with tax too. decent price - especially for valentines day. =)

update

alright so its been a while. im so busyyyyyyyyyy and my camera was at papas house. Buuutttt I ended up preordering the hello kitty blush in fun & games - which sold out btw - and the glitter liner in girl groove. pretty pretty colors i was able to pick them up the next day! no swatches because i left my makeup at my boyfriends house. I only have pictures of the beauty powder i got (tahitian sand) and the lucky tom quad.







I looooove the casing, the box, everything. I initially just wanted to buy the beauty powder for my studio fix casing but i ended up wanting to get the blush too. But the fun and games is a pretty pretty color so ill probably use that too. I wanted the other quad really bad but i know i wouldnt use the pinks or the black as much.. I ended up buying aquadisiac which is SOO similar to the color i wanted from the other eyeshadow quad. SO IM SET. Ill do the promo picture look with that and ill post it soon. just for fun. I so wanted to do that today but i realized all my stuff is at my boyfriends house.

SPEAKING OF WHICH. my car totally broke down, and the bmw dealership is asking for at least 2 grand to fix it. ummmmmm i dont think so. looks like im gonna be stuck riding the bus for a long while. i hate going to the shop because they think that since im a girl and that i probably dont know a thing about cars that im gonna let them hike the price up that high. it is ridiculous. 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS!? my car isnt even worth 2 grand. its stupid.

nars is good stuff, but they just chase me away when i hear the price "22 dollars" or "32 dollars" i mean id really like it, but really? i always end up saying "mmmmm ill probably come back, thanks though!"

i have lots of stuff to do like sew and finish my fashion app but im super duper tired so im just gonna sleep for a bit.

effing updates

I have absolutely no time to update. every second of the day i want to update my blog but i never have a computer near me. I have tons of pictures on my camera that i want to upload - and pictures i havent taken yet - to upload too. My hello kitty stuffff.. my sonics trip, my jager bombs with papa, my game of "pass the pigs" with nico and his cousin jedi. Im trying to do the promo pic look for the mac collection and if i feel up for it i might do a tutorial - just because i feel like it. But i got so excited i started it, but im so red and shaky from those jager bombs that i wasnt up to doing the second eye. so here i am just typing away with purple slashed across one eye and one eye only. haha its okay ill fix it.

I'm also getting tired of my penultimate eyeliner. I mean seriously, it was my best friend when i first got it. But like all felt tip eyeliners... its gonna run out of fluid. And it so did. So now im gonna try buying some ben nye cake liner... I heard that stuff works pretty good..

ALSO! thanks to texanqt63, I actually went on thebodyneeds.com and bought a couple mac sample glitters and one pigment. Im not sure how often im gonna use the glitters, but Ill probably use the pigment more so I might be heading back to that website to get more. pigments last forever so no sense in buying the whole thing unless you realllllly want it. But who knows.. you'll probably find me writing some haul about how many pigments i bought. You never know, mac does crazy things to you. You can have multiple obsessions at once. We'll see.

Soooo it was payday today time to hit up costco and buy that little something something i wanted for a while.

EARLY hello kitty mac collectionnnn

I am soooooo excited. I got a little something something a little bit EARLY from the mac collection. Valley Fair had an event that unforturnately i couldnt make it to, but my lovely roommates were able to go and i gave them money to get some stuff! They were serving alcohol and fooddd. But too bad i had work, I still got what i wanted! Id prefer to be there to get more stuff... to try everything on, so i only bought the eyeshadow palette and the beauty powder, so i can use the casing for my studio fix! I dont have the stuff with me now, so no pictures or swatches available. I will definitely do that tonight! Lavitttt
